They say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself. ― Andy Warhol

For what itís worth: itís never too late or too early to be whoever you want to be. Thereís no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life youíre proud of. If you find that youíre not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again. ― Eric Roth

What you do every single day accounts for the quality of your life and the degree of your success. You may not think that the little things add up, but they do. If you want to change your life, you need to make tiny, nearly undetectable decisions every hour of every day until those choices are habituated. Then, youíll just continue to do them. If you want to spend less time on your phone, deny yourself the chance to check it one time today. If you want to sleep more, go to bed 10 minutes earlier tonight than you did last night. Then, keep doing those things. Making big, sweeping changes is not difficult because weíre flawed, incompetent beings, itís difficult because weíre not meant to live outside our comfort zones. At our most instinctive, physiological level, change translates to something dangerous and potentially life-threatening. Trying to shock yourself into a new life isnít going to work, and thatís why it hasnít yet. All you need is to make one microshift at a time, and then let the energy and momentum build.
